Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge #5

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had this photo to use as our inspiration.

I used the bicycle as my inspiration and stamped one of the newest release images The Squidgy on a Journey.  I am loving this new Squidgy line!  I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.

I attempted another "small" shaker card like Jennifer made here.  I used the coordinating die to cut the image out - love that it gets in all the tight spots.  The cut it outs are so much easier than fussy cutting.  Looks like this little Squidgy is headed on a long journey with all that luggage, and here's a close up of the little shaker "hi".

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Free Form, so anything goes.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday to be featured on Blogabella and for a chance to win $25 in Bella Bucks.  Click here for all the details!

Bellariffic Friday - Use Kraft paper

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to Use Kraft paper.

I stamped one of the images from The Chicks Who "Couldn't Even" with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto kraft paper and coloured it with copics.  It was a learning curve for me as the colours of copics totally change when used on kraft paper - I had to try each colour on a scrap of kraft first.  I attached two of the sentiments with a brad on the front.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Inspiration Challenge 5, and here's the photo.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 29

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had MojoBella Sketch 29 to work with.

I stamped Gigi the Giraffe Stuffie with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The sentiment that comes with Gigi is "I'm so sorry" but I wanted to make it a birthday card so used one of the 3 sentiments from Uptown Girl Serena has a Sign.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Use Kraft Paper.

Bellariffic Friday - Free Form

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Free Form.  It's the first Friday of the month so that means another image on sale (20% off) for the whole month.  This month we are featuring Mason Jar of Flowers which is perfect for just about ANY occasion!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I then used the matching die to cut it out.  The layout is one that I saw on Inge Groot's Instagram page...AND Inge was featured this past Sunday on the "Spotted on Sunday" post.  She has some beautiful layouts!

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 29.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 3

Today I'm showing the last card I made for my department.

I can't take credit for this layout.  I found it on Pinterest (sorry, no name to give credit to) and thought it was so pretty.  I stamped Big Words "Sometimes people forget" onto a fishtail flag and added some felt flowers I made from various flower dies.  The background stencil is Fishnet and I softly sponged on some distress ink.  A bit of ribbon, a doily and some rhinestones finished it off.

The inside has the rest of the sentiment "Never forget how great you really are, I mean it"....but in my hurry I forgot to take a photo of the inside - sorry.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 2

I'm back with two more cards I made for a couple of the ladies in my department.  I am working my way through all the Danielle Donaldson images :)  Today's cards feature Onlygretchen and Amostella.

Like yesterday's cards, they were stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then clear embossed onto some watercolour paper.  I kept the layout the same - some washi tape, some Crystal Nuvo drops/dots and of course Wink of Stella.  The sentiment is one of the ones from Utterlyviolet.

Tomorrow I'll show the last card I made for my department.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Week - Day 1

It's Administrative Assistant's week and I made some cards for the awesome ladies in my department.  I actually made 5 cards - I'll show two today, two tomorrow and the final one on Wednesday.

For these two I inked up Utterlyviolet and Untilolive from the new Danielle Donaldson line.  I tried some watercolouring again.  The images are stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and then clear embossed onto some watercolour paper.  I used one of the sentiments that comes with Utterlyviolet "utterly amazing" and added some washi tape down the side and a few Nuvo Crystal Drops.  Of course I had to use my Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle on their clothes - LOL.

Check back tomorrow for two more cards.

Bellariffic Friday - Birthday Wishes/Celebrate

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Birthday Wishes/Celebrate.  I made a birthday card using The Stuffie Gang.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Echo Park "A Boy's Life" and the sentiment is from Uptown Girl Serena has a Sign.  I added some glossy accents to the balloon.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Inspiration Challenge 4.  It's easy, just use anything from this photo as your inspiration.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Pina Colada time

This was me last week - down south, on the beach with my BFF.

I stamped the super cute Tropical Squidgies image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I used the co-ordinating Cut it Out die and popped "us" up onto a beach scene I drew.  The paper is Doodlebug Design "Sunkissed".  Of course, I had to use some glossy accents on our sunglasses :)

On the inside I used the sentiment that comes with the image.

Happy Easter

Just a quick pop in with another Easter card featuring the sweet Hoppy Easter Bunny Wobble.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I made a frame with some patterned paper from my scrap pile, sorry don't know the name of it.  The sentiment comes with the image and I cut it in two and mounted it at an angle.

I hope you're having a lovely weekend.
