Happy Birthday Anna - Sweet Inspiration

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had a "sweet" sweet inspiration photo to work with.

I made this birthday card for my friend Anna - the very friend who got me into this crazy world of stamping about 25 years ago!

I stamped Uptown Girl Ava Loves To Celebrate onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  I fussy cut her out and popped her up for dimension on an oval that I embossed with the Petal Circles stencil.  I also embossed the cream bit behind and while my stencil was still in place, gave them both a fine spray of glimmer mist.   I added some Stickles to the icing on the cake and of course my Wink of Stella pen here and there.

On the inside I added a scallop border and stamped the image again with the sentiment in the middle.  I have seen this on other blogs and liked the look.  The image is faint enough to see but I can still write my message over it.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is another sketch and we hope you'll get stamping with us.  I'm leaning towards one of the new Uptown Girls from Emily's latest release - just can't get enough of those girls!

It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win those Bella Bucks.

Cheerio.....Leslie
