Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 6

It's Bellariffic Friday and I'm happy to be back playing along with this week's challenge which was sketch #6.

I stamped Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.

The paper is MME Indie Chic "Citron".  I used a Scallop circle nestie and Pierced Circle STAX die-namic to cut out the image and my Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle on her dress.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "Stitch It Up", so using real or faux stitching on your card or even a sewing theme or paper - it's totally up to you.  It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Next week is also a new month so that means a new stamp image on sale for the whole month of April - can't wait to see what the rest of the Bellababes come up with!

Ali's goodbye -SSSC258

My favourite barista, Ali, left Starbucks!  While I am so happy for him in his new job I was so sad to see him leave.  He was a breath of sunshine each morning to me and many, many Starbucks customers.

I made his card using the SSSC258 layout.  The sentiment is Stampingbella "Sometimes People Forget" and it was perfect for Ali!  The paper is Echo Park "A Boy's Life".  I drew two little Starbucks cups and personalized them as he does for me each morning!  And just for the record, I don't get two drinks every day - one is for my co-worker Vicky :)

Here is the inside using the second sentiment that is included.

He loved his card - he got teary, I got teary.  Sometimes tears can be happy and sad at the same time!

Christmas night - SSSC257

Here is my card using the SSSC257 layout - and my first Christmas card for 2015!

The only stamping on this is the snowflake.  I wanted to try a blended sky and was pleased with it but need to practice a bit more.  I used four Tim Holtz Distress inks: weathered wood, dusty concord, tumbled glass and salty ocean and blended them all together with a blending sponge.  The die is from Memory Box and it's called Country Landscape.  I added some sparkle to the rooftops and a big, bright moon in the corner.

Sympathy - SSSC256

Keeping up with my Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, here is my card using the SSSC256 layout.

I stamped two poppies from LJD Pretty Poppies  onto Bella's Bestest paper with Wild Cherry and Jellybean Green ink.  The sentiment is from CS About Sympathy and I added some sequins to balance it out.

I'm back

Sorry for my quick and unexplained disappearance.  I had to leave the country very unexpectedly for a family funeral and am just getting back on my feet.  I had several cards made but didn't have time to post them on my blog before I left so watch for a flurry of activity soon :)
